Scallop Shell Spoon Rest

A spoon rest moulded as a scallop shell, with the fan ribs picked out in alternating navy, sage and ochre from the hinge outward. Dished deeply enough to hold a spoonful of sauce, not just the spoon.

The fluted rim is raised all the way round, so it works as a rest, a pinch bowl for salt, or somewhere to put a used teabag.
